Unique in its compact design and simple handling the glass oven B-585 offers a variety of possibilities in the lab. Especially small and medium sample quantities have to be dried fast, gentle and reproducible - an ideal application for this flexible device. Depending on configuration, substances can be distilled, sublimated or freeze-dried. The heating element is a glass tube with an electrically conductive coating. It heats the furnace chamber up through the entire length up to a max. temperature of 300 °C. The transparent sample chamber is easily visible, in case of incipient decomposition, the process can be interrupted.
