- Low vapour pressure even at high temperatures.
- Very good lubricating properties.
- Low oil backflow.
- Good resistance to aging.
- Resistant to break-down.
- Min. oxidation.
Rotary vane pump oil B:Standard oil with very good viscosity characteristics, good chemical resistance, as well as a better stability when pumping oxidants such as acid and alkaline vapours.
Rotary vane pump oil K 8:Especially designed for pumping acid vapours. It is very hygroscopic and has limited capacity for water vapour. The alkaline additive is consumed during operation, making it necessary to change the fluid regularly, even if the pump is not used for several days. Lower vapour pressure and viscosity characteristics than pump oil B.
Silicone oil SI 2:Very high aging resistance. Stable against many aggressive gases (e. g. chlorine and hydrochloric acid).
Perfluoropolyether oil:This synthetic oil has excellent chemical resistance and is certified for pumping pure oxygen. Therefore it is used for pumping strong oxidants (halogenides, nitrogen oxides etc.). For these applications, the rotary vane pump must be prepared (completely disassembled, cleaned and filled with perfluoropolyether oil) by VACUUBRAND.
Perfluorpolyether oil is available in 2 sorts: type PFPE 1 is exclusively suitable for rotary vane pumps RE / RZ 2.5 and 6 and particularly reasonably priced. The oil PFPE 2 can be used in all VACUUBRAND rotary vane pumps.
